Well folks what can I say. The National Auction was a big success and there were a few new records set. Firstly a record price of R350,000 was paid for a 3 in 1 cow. Congratulations to Johan Naude and he did well with his bull at the sale as well.
Then to Stompie Olivier congratulations on the price that you got for your heifer. A new record price for a heifer of R290,000 that made Stompies day I am sure. To all the other breeders that did well thank you for your lovely animals and may they bring their new owners closer to the Boran Breed.
We did see a whole lot of new buyers at the auction and I am sure that we will continue to see new breeders at every auction. |
