Bethal June 27, 2009

Good Morning on a lovely winters morning here in Bethal. We are in our first Highveld winter and so far it is not too bad. The cattle has adapted really well and in true Boran fashion they did not lose a beat. We are happy here and the cattle are doing well. I hope that the grass will stay mine until the end of winter and that there are no fires that robs me and the cows of grazing.

I have found Bethal a very useful place as I can get everything that I need right here on  my door step. It is lovely to just go to town quickly and get something that you want or need. Where as before I had to drive all the way to PMB and that took almost 1 hour of my time just to get there I can now go to town get what I need and be back in 30 minutes. That is lovely and I can say that it is good.

We are also in the process of getting two (2) female animals ready for the National Auction and that in itself is an exciting prospect. But more about that later.
